The Banking crisis began in 2007 and despite the efforts of the central banks and regulators to restore calm, it continued and gathered intensity for a further year. By the end of 2008 and early 2009 the financial system and the global economy appeared to be locked in a descending spiral and the prevention of a prolonged downturn became the primary focus on government policy. This was a global crisis with many countries suffering a drop in GDP, negative growth, bankrupted businesses and banks and thus high unemployment rates. This crisis was a systematic failure in which many problems led to an eventual meltdown of the global economy. But how did the UK manage this crisis and what policies are we using in the current macroeconomic environment where there is so much uncertainty surrounding the UK EU referendum and the current election of President Donald Trump. As the financial crisis intensified the government sought to use a mix of monetary and fiscal policies in order to keep inflation around 2% and maintain positive economic growth. Monetary policy aims to control the money supply through the central bank interest rate. Fiscal policy is the way in which a government adjusts its spending levels and tax rates to change the level of output in an economy. Both policies effects can be shown using a IS-LM diagram. The personality trait that I chose is one of the big five personality traits known as Extraversion. Extraversion is a trait, within the factor called plasticity, which relates to individuals who are social and outgoing. More specifically, they like a lot of various stimulation, it comes of no surprise that these individuals seek out people, activities and noisy places. These individuals can seek excitement; they are impulsive, risk taking, argumentative and unreliable, while also upbeat, optimistic, warm, assertive, and like to be active. Essay On Responsibility In An Inspector Calls The following essay will question who the enigmatic inspector is and how J.B Priestly the social critic, incorporates dramatically effective devices into the play. I would like to begin the essay with some background information about priestly and why it is he decided to write this play.  John Boynton Priestly was a socialist writer who used an inspector calls to convey his message of equality among all the classes; he had strong political views and was concerned about the inequality between different statuses in society. Social Darwinism was widely practised all over the country and he felt it was wrong and unjustified. He was so concerned that he, along with others, set up a new political party called the commonwealth party. Priestly was a strong believer that future conflicts could only be avoided by mutual respect and understanding between the countries. Consequently, he became an active member of the early movement of the United Nations. The play was written during the Edwardian era, also known as Belle poque -meaning beautiful era, when the British class system was at its most rigid. Coincidentally, it was at this time that socialism was beginning its rise which bought to attention the conditions of the poor and the status of women. It may have been due to Priestleys potent socialist beliefs that the distinctions in class were given in such detail in the play. Moreover, writing it in 1945 but setting in 1912 meant that he could use gender and class as two controversial themes within the play. This enabled him to express a portrayal of what society was like before two wars had passed. Therefore, not only could he incorporate dramatic irony but also create characters that were flawed through ignorance of what the future holds, the titanic- she sails next week and is absolutely unsinkable. It is also due to the variation in time that he allowed the audience to know that the status quo had changed, thus ensuring that spectators felt more involved by possessing information the characters do not. Armed with hindsight, the audience can now see through faades, disprove predictions and realise that some characters are flawed from the very beginning of the play, youll hear some people say that war is inevitable, to that I say- fiddlesticks.  I have already established that Priestleys own political opinions have influenced the play, and so I feel it would also be plausible for me to believe that the fictitious city of Brumley may have been influenced by the Northern City of Bradford where Priestley grew up. An industrial city in the North Midlands. Considering that Priestly has influenced the play with his views and memories, he may have also used other sources to inspire his plot, like using the name Eva Smith as the victim of the play. Could this character have been based upon Eve, the first women god created? If so, then Priestleys intention may have used her to represent all of the women in her class, or it may have been another ploy to incorporate irony by not only using a woman as the victim, but using a woman who gave into temptation. Another interesting dramatic device may well be the recurrence of the message of unity within community. Throughout the play Priestly emphasizes the importance of interdependence in society we do not live alone; we are members of one body. We are responsible fore each other. I feel this is another message to urge the audience to understand what the end of a war had taught them. The way in which this is achieved is that the play progresses by everything taking place within the same day, during the same time frame and conforms to the same plot. A continuous plot also means that not too much attention is diverged from the message that the play is trying to convey. This structure could be regarded as dramatically ironic because as the plot progresses, the tension builds which all leads up to the inspector final speech. From the very beginning of the play we can see that the Birlings are members of the upper class as the stage direction include a maid. We can also see that Gerald is of a high status too, as his mother and father have the title; Sir and Lady Croft. It is also noted in the stage directions that Mrs Birling is socially superior to her husband so it becomes evident that status can be changed through marriage. The stage is naturalistic as Birling is enjoying a meal with his soon-to-be son in law Gerald Croft and his family. The atmosphere is calm and serene although there is a hint of hostility as Geralds parents are not present at the engagement meal. When I say that the stage is naturalistic I implied that everything is very typical, the Birling household is a representation of what the ordinary middle class family of that era would look like substantial and heavily comfortable.

Team Cohesion is the extent to which each member of a team is willing to contribute in the team. Cohesiveness is usually developed over a period of time with development of interpersonal relationships and sense of belonging in the group/team. Team communication is broadly defined as exchange of meaningful information between two people/members in context to the team. Information Leak is another such challenge wherein it becomes, which can lea d to failure of plans, increased cost of altering plans and/or implementing new ones altogether. Another challenge faced in communication is that of Rumours and Gossips, due to which some people in the team may feel less motivated or cheated and thus reduce their productivity (Guffey, Rogin and Rhodes 2012) Lying and Euphemism are also communication challenges faced in a group. By lying, one member takes away the right of truth of all the other members and this can lead to inappropriate decision making, which might benefit the one lying but can harm the entire group. Similarly Euphemism can influence the decision made by one member to complete his task which would eventually lead to loss of entire team. Every team member needs to understand the importance of ethical communication and should try to not deviate from the same (Hybels and Weaver 2015) Reviewing the literature of Ethical Communication, Communication in Team Work and its importance in Team Effectiveness, one can relate that the three factors co-exist with one another. In a team it is very essential for each and every member to communicate one another effectively. Communication however does not mean gossiping and irrelevant talking. Communication here means exchange of ideas, suggestions, important information relating to the project, decisions being made, and implementing and discussing various possible plans of actions (Braun 2013). For a team to achieve its target effectively, it is essential that every person should develop sense of ethical communication and refrain from indulging in spreading rumours and gossiping, lying to other members, holding a secret for self benefit, talking about teams plans at inappropriate place and in front of irrelevant people. For the communication to be effective enough to improve team work and effectiveness, every employee should be motivated to interact and discuss with each other, avoiding conflicts of thoughts and interests. Through ethical communication, the negative feelings like jealousy, hatred, incompetency etc can be avoided amongst the group member. It is the responsibility of the leader of the group to ensure trust and harmony amongst the members. If all these factors are sorted and the communication in the team is effective, then the team can succeed in achieving its target effectively and efficiently. Whereas in the team where people do not communicate with each oth er, follow unethical ways of communication, aim to achieve only personal goals and lack group harmony, it is almost impossible for such team to achieve its set targets in time. Thus, ethical communication is very essential for team to work and achieve its target efficiently and effectively. In every organization, there are various teams and every team is created to achieve a set target. In a team there are typically more than two members, who can be of same department or of different departments who have come together to achieve common organizational goal. So it becomes essential for these diverse people to communicate in order to pool their expertise. Lack of which can cause ineffectiveness of the group as a whole. The success of an organization broadly depends on how its employees can perform as a team. To understand the aspects of communication in team work, we review various definitions and factors that affect communication. We have understood various dynamics relating to Team Work such as Team Effectiveness, Team Performance, Team Cohesion and Team Communication. All these factors affect the overall working of a team. Narrowing our focus to Team Communication, which affects the various decisions made in the group and the flow of information. It is highly affected b y factors such as morals and values of the member communicating. Every person has a different background and it is important for them to understand that at a professional platform one has to keep in mind the ethics of team communication and try sticking to them for the good of entire team. Ethical communication involves conveying the point to the audience/team members without offending them, maintaining same wavelength with all the members, not withholding crucial information from the team, refraining from lying and euphemism, not leaking information and cheating other team members, not indulging in gossips etc. For a team to perform effectively it becomes essential that its members trust each other, are open minded and are focused to the team goal. They communicate with each in most ethic manner and there shall be transparency and harmony in the group.
